Admission to SASTRA M.Tech is done on the basis of merit in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). After the conclusion of application process, the deemed-to-be-university send provisional admission letters to the applicants by email, individually.

Admission to the BSc (Hons) courses offered at Amrita Coimbatore campus is through the Amrita Entrance Examination – Life Sciences, Agriculture & Medical Sciences (AEEL). Candidates are admitted further through a centralised seat allotment process (CSAP). Additionally, it is also necessary that the course aspirants meet the eligibility criteria.
