Hi Anik!
If you have a bachelors degree in LLB, CA, CWA, only then you can apply for postgraduate diploma in taxation. B.Com candidates are not eligible.

Hi Anshul,
If you have passed 10+2 from a recognized board, you can directly apply to the institute for admission. The fee for the course is Rs 25,000.

Taxation law is a very broad subject to keep it in a simple way.
It covers the rules, policies and laws that oversee the tax process, which involves charges on estates, transactions, property, income, licenses and more by the government. Unfortunately, you cannot pursue the course. It requires you to score at least 60% marks in B.Com.

Apart from the regular fixed pay, an Income Tax Inspector also enjoys a bunch of perks, benefits and allowances. According to current pay scales, you will get a salary of around 40,000/- per month initially. The salary can vary according to the location you get posted. Regards.

Hi Mohith!
n order to become an Income tax officer you need to apply for the Indian Revenue Services exam which is also known as IRS. The other way is to give a Staff Selection Commission Exam. To be eligible for the exam you should have completed a Graduation Degree from any stream from a recognised university. The age should be between 18 years to 27 years. 3 years age relaxation for the OBC and 5 years age relaxation for the SC/ST Candidate. The notification of the exam is issued every year in the month of April. You can find the notification in the Rozgar Samachar / Employment Newspaper, Gazette of India and other leading newspapers
