Hi, You can simply go for short term certified professional courses like CCA (Certified Corporate Accountant), CCP (Certified Corporate Professionals). You can also opt for Diploma courses in Income Tax. One can find e taxation course institute like IPA which offers Diploma in taxation, suitable for people looking for career in Income Tax, GST etc.

Hi Ayushi, As you mentioned that you want to make your career in International Taxation, I think you are eligible for Post Qualification Diploma in International Taxation, which are conducted by ICAI for the chartered accountants. So, you can also apply for this Diploma course. You can check the following link for more understanding of the subject:

Hi Sana,
Why don't you try for a MBA rather than a Diploma? I suggest that a MBA from a prestigious college would be a great option for you to go ahead with.

You can choose any subjects you want because becoming an income tax inspector has nothing to do with your subject. You just need to clear the exam.
Good luck.

Hello Sukhpal,
I think you have raised this query second time by oversight. In nutshell, you have to appear for the same exam which you need to become an IAS. Depending on your rank, you can get the stream.
Best wishes.

To work in Income tax department as an officer or clerk it is required that you take exams. SSC CGL and CHSL are some common entrance exams. Also, if you are willing to work as IVth class employee then IT Department releases vacancies for Drivers, PAs, etc.
