After qualifying the UGC NET Exam, you can apply in various institutes and universities to take the position of assistant professor. Based on your scorecard, you have to keep a check on the websites. Whenever the vacancies rolled out, you can apply for the same. You also can try in various PSUs like Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), etc.

You have completed your B.Tech, but for applying UGC NET with the IT subject, you should have a post-graduation degree in computer Science or Informational technology. After that, you can apply for JRF or Lectureship. Before to apply for both of the posts, you should check the Key factors related to UGC NET Exam. You must have to follow the below eligibility criteria:- You must have scored 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST, OBC- NCL, PwD) in Masters. - Age must not be more than 28 years, for applying for Junior Research Fellowship. - No upper age limit for applying the post of assistant professor.

Yes, you can still become a lecturer by qualifying the NET exam after completion of your M.A. It does not matter if you have completed your MA from Open University, all you require is that university should be a recognized university and you have completed the post-graduation with a minimum required marks. NTA conducts the UGC NET exam twice a year for candidates who want to make a career in lectureship. After qualifying the UGC NET exam you can directly become an assistant professor in any of the top UGC recognized universities across India. Yes, you can apply for B.Ed after D. El. Ed. But, you must have graduation. The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed course Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) form a recognized board/university with at least 50% marks. Thanks.

It is very nice to see your query and also your qualifications. You indeed have a very impressive set of qualifications like B.Com followed by MCA and also M Tech in software engineering. Fundamentally speaking, when you want to teach in a college then you should have post-graduation in that or related topic since that is the minimum qualification for a teacher to be recruited for or teaching in colleges. You have done your post-graduation like M.Tech in software engineering and also MCA, hence I am sure you are definitely competent enough to teach computer Science subjects. Best wishes to you.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for UGC NET Exam. IGNOU is also a recognised university for UGC NET. As you said, your subject is Economics, therefore you are eligible to take your exam with Economics subject. Before applying, make sure that you have fulfilled the eligibility criteria or not. You wanted to apply for Professor post, so there is no upper age limit for applying but you should have minimum 55% marks in your master's.
