The process of becoming a government teacher (TGT) in UP has certain defined requirements. The first requirement to become a government teacher (TGT) in UP is obtaining a bachelor's degree in relevant subject with 50% marks minimum. A B.Ed degree requires minimum 50% marks as the second academic step after earning an undergraduate degree. After completing the UP TGT exam series known as the Uttar Pradesh Trained Graduate Teacher exam candidates must pass the examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board (UPSESSB). There are two exam papers during the exam which distribute 200 marks each. Professionals who manage to pass the UP TGT exam will be chosen by their achievements to join the UP government school staff at a basic monthly wage range between INR 44,900-1,42,400.

Here is the list of skillset that one should accuire to become a good Nursery Teacher:

• Nursery teachers must nurture the development of rudimentary skills in children comprising physical coordination, communication, and speech. They must also assist children with creative and mathematical development through plays, games, songs, and stories.
• They must have exceptional communication skills, compassion, and an inclination to guide and manage groups of energetic young children.
• Nursery teachers must have the ability to develop knowledge and curiosity in the children. They must have the capability to work with others, along with teaching assistants and volunteer helpers to plan and organize work outdoors and indoors.
• They must possess stimulating and motivating skills to encourage learning via experience and provide pastoral support and care to children in facilitating to creation of secure learning environments for them.
