Following are the exams by clearing any of which, you are eligible to become a teacher:
TET, CTET SLET, NET CSIR NET SET, PRT, PGT, TGT, B.Ed and M.Ed.

If you have done your Diploma from the medical line meaning pharmacy or nursing, then you are not eligible to be a technical teacher. Even a Diploma holder can't be a teacher for teaching. The candidates should have at least Masters in Technology.

In that case, choose any subject from PCM or engineering or Hindi and do B.Sc Hons from DU, if possible. And, then you can become a teacher.

1. You are teaching at the Primary School Level.
2. There are 23 years that you have given to Service in school.
3. UGC NET id an exam.
For College Teacher Selection/Eligibility:
The experience of School will not be counter, as experience in the Higher Education, because the classes you teach matter in Higher Education promotions. I shall suggest that if you have passer NET, get a Job in Higher education if possible.

Hi, You will have to apply for the PG programme and score at least 55%, which is the minimum eligibility to appear for the NET (National Eligibility Test)-the qualifying examination for teaching in a college. You can also apply for research work in your university as M.Phil Ph.D. degrees are required for teaching in colleges. But remember, a candidate with doctoral degree gets an edge over other applicants. NET is conducted by the UGC (University Grants Commission) twice in a year- June & December every year. The eligibility for applying to Diploma in primary teacher training, you need to have passed 10+2 from a recognized board. You can apply directly to the college.

To apply for B.Ed, you need to have passed graduation with minimum 50% marks. I would be difficult to get admission with 46% marks however I would request you to contact the college officials to have a better clarity.

To become a government teacher, aspirants should have the basic qualification required for the level that the aspirants aim to teach, that is, Primary, Elementary and at Intercollegiate level.
