Initially, M.A. Courses in Punjabi were started in the department and with the passage of time, other courses were also started to cater of the needs of the students. Keeping in view the need of the students M.Phil course in Punjabi was also started to fulfill the condition laid down by the UGC for the eligibility of Lectureship. Similarly another M.Phil course in Guru Granth Sahib Studies was also initiated The Panjab University occupies a place of pride in the year 1999-2000. There are ample amount of teaching job in CS as well as commerce. Both are equally good but BCA would have more job opportunities in teaching as well as corporate job.

If you are looking for a teacher training Certificate after completing B.Ed you may need to appear for some entrance exams such as CTET TET, STET, etc. To become eligible for teaching at different levels. These exams test your knowledge and skills in various subjects and pedagogy.

Yes, you can take B.Ed after completing B.Sc. Computer Science and having 8 years of experience as a computer teacher in CBSE. In fact, there are integrated B.Sc+B.Ed courses available in some colleges. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Essential Qualification : (1) A Masters degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Political Science / Public Policy from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. (2) You also need to give UGC NET and should be passed the cutoff marks
extra qualification. Prior experience will help you to clear the interview in private colleges.
