In the 2023 placements drive, the average package received by the top 20% and 50% of the batch was INR 35.35 LPA and INR 30.82 LPA, respectively. As per the past three years' placements, an improving trend was observed. 

North-Eastern Hill University admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The college accepts several entrance exams for admission to its various courses, such as CUET, JEE Mains, MAT, NATA, GATE, etc. To get admitted to NEHU Shillong, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college.
