Yes, you are eligible to appear for the NTA UGC NET under Commerce subject. As per the rules of the NTA candidates who have qualified or qualifying their Post-Graduation are eligible to appear in the UGC NET Exam. The minimum qualifying marks in Post-graduation is 55% (general) and 50% (other-category)

NTA conducts the UGC NET Exam twice in a year in the month of June and December, with more than 80 subjects. UGC NET (University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test) was started in 1990. Since 1990, the NET Exam is conducted twice a year. Mostly, it is organized in July and December. Till July 2018 the NET Exam was conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) but in Dec 2018 the exam was organized by NTA (National Testing Agency) for the first time. NTA has made some changes in UGC NET exam to improve the exam quality. If you are interested to appear in upcoming UGC NET Exam, be updated with the latest changes that NTA has made for the exam. Hi, The syllabus of UPTET and CTET is not same. And exam pattern is totally different. Good luck for your exam.

If you are in reserved category, you are eligible. As minimum percentage for reserved category is 50% and for unreserved category is 55%. Good luck.

Hello Rich, As such, there is no proper format for the marks distribution for paper-2. The whole UGC NET exam will consist of 300 questions for 300 marks. Out of these questions, 200 questions will be from the specialised subject.

You should select electronics in your net exam. At the time of registration, you will get the option for electronics and you need to apply for the same.
