For a TGT train graduate teacher position with a BA Political Science and economics and a B.Ed in economics and English you can choose either economics or English as your specialisation provided your B.Ed includes are respective pedagogy of your B.Ed focuses on teaching both subject you have more flexibility if you want to teach social Science you should have study history geography along with economics are Political Science for all three year of graduation

No, it's not compulsory. Candidates can get admission to BEd courses without taking any entrance exam, depending on the college/university. Hence, it's important to do your own research before applying to any particular college/university.
Further, in the case of distance B.Ed programs, no entrance exams are needed. Students can get direct admission to a Distance B.Ed course in colleges like YCMOU, MPBOU, and IGNOU.

Admission relies upon for your advantage score and performance in the college's Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
