The result for Maharashtra Eligibility Test 2021-22 (Maha TET 2021-22) has been released on the official site on October 21. The result has been published zone wise for the Maha TET 2021-22. The candidates can download the result pdf through the link provided below. The answer key 2021 was released for Paper 1 and Paper 2 on June 22, 2022. Candidates can download the MAHA TET answer key PDF below. The interim answer key was released on December 2, 2021, to invite objections from candidates who were not satisfied with any answer. The Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) 2021 exam was held on November 21. Candidates who applied for the MAHA TET 2021 appeared for the exam. The exam was held in different sessions for Paper 1 and 2. The first session was held from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm and the second session was held from 14:00 pm to 16:30 pm.

What is MAHA TET?

MAHA TET or Maharashtra TET is a state-level teacher eligibility test (TET) conducted by the Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) to determine the eligibility of candidates for Classes 1 to 8 teachers in the schools of Maharashtra. The MAHA TET exam is conducted at two levels – the primary (paper 1) and the upper primary (paper 2). Candidates who plan to become teachers of Classes 1-5 need to appear for the MAHA TET paper 1. On the other hand, candidates who plan to be teachers of Classes 6-8 need to sit for MAHA TET paper 2. Candidates who wish to be teachers of Classes 1-8, need to appear for both papers.

Filling MAHA TET Application form

Candidates first need to fill MAHA TET application form online on the official website of the exam. The MAHA TET application fee is Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 800 for both papers.

Release of Admit card

Appearing in MAHA TET exam

Candidates need to appear for the MAHA TET exam as per the details mentioned on their admit card. Both paper 1 and paper 2 of the MAHA TET exam are of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration each.

MAHA TET Syllabus 2022

The MSCE prescribes the MAHA TET syllabus for Paper 1 and Paper 2. It is important for candidates to be familiar with the MAHA TET syllabus 2021 to know the total number of subjects, topic-wise distribution of questions, important topics and marks distribution. The MAHA TET Paper 1 syllabus includes topics from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. On the other hand, the MAHA TET Paper 2 syllabus comprises questions from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Science or Social Studies/Social Sciences.

MAHA TET Exam Pattern 2022

MAHA TET exam pattern highlights the overall structure of the exam including the total marks, section-wise marking scheme, number of subjects, total number of questions and time duration. The MAHA TET exam pattern differs for Paper 1 and Paper 2. However, both papers share the same number of questions and marking scheme. Each paper is of two hours thirty minutes duration and comprises 150 questions of one mark each. There is no negative marking in the exam.
