B.P.Ed. is short for Bachelor of physical education. It is a professional degree programme at undergraduate level usually last 2 years, but there are also 3 years or 4 years versions in the universities. Levies towards a B.P.Ed course are greatly different between institutions. It may be INR 10,000 to INR 30,000 in the government colleges whereas the somewhere INR 40,000 to more than INR 1,000,000 per year in the private universities with course fees being INR 80,000 to INR 3,00,000 or even more throughout the whole program.

Jalpaiguri district, West Bengal mein kai teaching colleges hain, jo mukhyatah B.Ed aur D.El.Ed courses offer karte hain. Kuch pramukh colleges mein, aapko Ananda Chandra College of Education, Sukanta Mahavidyalaya (B.Ed Department), aur Malbazar College (B.Ed Department) mil sakte hain. Iske alawa, kuch private B.Ed colleges bhi hain. Sahi aur the latest jaankari ke liye, aap Shiksha Seva Bhawan (West Bengal Board of Primary Education) ya North Bengal University ki official websites check kar sakte hain.

The latest syllabus for CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) is divided into two papers: Paper 1 (for classes 1-5) and Paper 2 (for classes 6-8). Both papers cover Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, and Language II. Paper 1 also includes Mathematics and Environmental Studies. Paper 2 has Mathematics and Science or Social Studies/Social Sciences.
