MAT is conducted multiple times a year. Most of the MBA entrance exams in India are conducted annually. MAT is the only exam that is conducted multiple times in four phases and multiple exam modes. To make it possible for every MBA aspirant to appear for an entrance exam, AIMA designed MAT, which can be taken by candidates from an exam center as well as at home. The exam is held in February, May, September, and December, which allows candidates to prepare and plan for it as well as for MBA admission. In each of these four months, the MAT is conducted in CBT, PBT, and IBT modes. Candidates can choose a date and a mode of exam based on their preparation and convenience. Registrations for each MAT exam phase start a month earlier. Candidates can also take re-tests in the same academic session if they are not happy with their scores.

There are no placement details available on the official website of Kota University. However, the Kota University has released the NIRF report 2024 on its official website. According to the NIRF report 2024, the median package offered to the PG 2-year batch 2023 stood at INR 2.20 LPA. The same is tabulated below:

Kota University has a decent record of placements for courses like MBA, MCA and MSW, etc. The placement details of the batch 2024 are yet to be released on the official website. Class 12 with English and PCM/ PCB/ PCMB and a minimum of 55% aggregate (for the General category) is the basic eligibility for BPharma at Kota University. Candidates from states other than Rajasthan need a minimum of 60% aggregate to be eligible for the course. 

The University of Kota is accredited with a 'B' Grade by NAAC. Kota University was established in 2003 by the Government of Rajasthan and is approved by UGC. Kota University, through six faculties, over 15 departments, 6 Shodhpeeth, and 190+ affiliated colleges, offers UG, PG, PG Diploma, and Certificate courses to students across the Social Science, Law, Commerce & Management, Science and Education streams.

Kota University charges a one-time hostel fee of INR 500 from all its students with an additional refundable security deposit of INR 2,000 for Indian students and INR 10,000 for foreign students. Nominal charges are also included in the hostel fee on a per-month basis, such as water (INR 100), electricity (INR 50), and hostel development (INR 100), etc. Mess charges are collected separately on the basis of actual expenditure with an annual advance of INR 5,000. The monthly hostel fee varies according to courses, such as

• For UG – INR 500 per month
• For PG – INR 750 per month
• For Ph.D – INR 1,000 per month

Candidates who are interested in admission to the UOK M.Ed course must have completed their three-year bachelor's or equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Admissions at UOK are based on scores obtained in the last qualifying examinations. Once selected candidates must prepare the relevant documents for verification purposes.

The total tuition fee for MA courses at University of Kota ranges from INR 12,000-INR 20,000. Candidates also have to pay tutition fee and hostel fee. Kota University courses offers 42 undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in various specialisations of Science, Pharmacy, Arts, Management, Commerce, Education, Law, and Physical Education. The course duration for BPEd at University of Kota is two years. The programmes are offered under affiliated colleges of Kota University. To secure a seat at UOK candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria, passed calss 12 with minimum marks and selection will be based on merit. The BPEd course offered 200 seat intake through the Shiv Sankat Haran Adrash Sanskrit Mahavidyala and SNS College 100 each, to apply applicants can visit official website. 

Candidates must complete their graduation. Kota University conducts the application process for various courses online. The application process for all the courses is INR 500.For all the candidates seeking admission to various UG, PG, and doctoral courses, selection will be based on entrance exam-based or merit-based as per the course opted by the candidate.
