There is no restriction on how many times a candidate may take the CTET exam in terms of tries. As long as they meet the eligibility requirements established by the CBSE, candidates are free to retake the exam as often as necessary until they pass it. The July 2024 exam process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is being administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Admissions to B.Ed at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University are open. To be eligible for B.Ed one must have graduated from a recognised university with a minimum of 50%.
The admission process for B.Ed is:
- First you need to appear in the UP B.Ed JEE exam. Score as high as possible.
- Then you need to apply for the university.
- Then UP B.Ed JEE counselling will be started, seats will be allocated to students according to their performace in entrance exam and graduation.
- After the seat is assigned, candidates need to pay the tuition of the college and start the session.

Yes, you can apply for CTET, but only for Paper 1, which is for the teachers for class 1 to class 5. The eligibility criteria for CTET Paper 1 is :
- Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and cleared or appearing in final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration)
OR - Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and cleared or appearing in the final year exam of Bachelor of Elementary Education (4 years duration).
OR - Bachelor’s degree with a BEd degree.
