Eligibility to be a Lecturer:
- Educational Qualification To be eligible to be a lecturer one should hold at least a Master Degree in any of the relevant subject with at least 55% marks in it. Higher qualifications are always preferred.
- Interested candidate has to appear in MH SET exam which is held twice a year and pass it.This is the only hurdle to be cleared to be eligible to get a job as a lecturer In a college.
- After clearing MH SET exam one is eligible for applying as a lecturer in any college affiliated with any of the university recognised by UGC in Maharashtra. Clearing of MH SET does not gives guarantee of any job it is just

The candidates need to qualify for both papers that are paper 1 and paper 2 in order to be eligible to qualify for the MH SET exam. The candidates have to score a minimum of 40 per cent marks (Unreserved category) and 35 per cent of marks to qualify for the MH SET exam. However, among the candidates crossing the minimum qualifying marks, the top 6 per cent of the candidates will be made qualified for the Assistant Professor.

Andhra Pradesh TET 2025 result was released on January 10. The result can be downloaded by logging with the required credentials. AP TET result is announced in the form of scorecard. It displays the qualifying status. Qualified candidates are issued APTET certificate.

The UGC NET 2024 June session, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is scheduled from June 10 to June 21, 2024.
The UGC NET application form for 2024 is expected to be released in April 2024, along with its notification. The UGC NET 2024 exam is scheduled from June 10 to 21, 2024, for which admit cards will be issued in May 2024. The RIE CEE 2024 exam will be conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). For the academic session 2024, the official notification and schedule for the RIE CEE exam is expected to be released on the official website of RIE CEE. Candidates can check all the important dates related to the RIE CEE 2024.
The RIE CEE 2024 application form will be issued by the NCERT likely in April 2024. The exam will tentatively be held in July 2024.

CBSE will give candidates one chance to correct any incorrect information in the CTET application form (if any). The CTET application form correction window is provided only once. As per the CBSE, no change will be accepted through offline mode.
