The candidates can take the WBTET exam again though they have qualified for it earlier. There is no restriction in taking the again, if the candidate fulfils the eligibility criteria to appear for the exam. The score for the WBTET exam is valid for a lifetime. However, the candidates can take the exam to ensure more marks in the exam

No, qualifying the West Bengal Teaching Eligibility Test (WBTET) does not ensure job as a Government school teacher. WBTET is only a eligibility exam that verifies that the candidates qualifying for the exam is eligible to teach in schools. To get recruited as a teacher in West Bengal Government schools, the WBTET qualified candidates have to appear for the teacher's recruitment exam conducted by the State Government.

Admission to the B.Ed programme offered by the institutions affiliated to Bhabha University is compeletely merit based. Candidates who have a Graduation or Post Graduation degree in any subject with minimum score of 50% and BE/ Science (Mathematics) with 55% marks (SC/ ST category candidates who belong to Madhya Pradesh domicile must obtain at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination) can apply for admission to the B.Ed programme at Bhabha University. Bhabha University B.Ed admission will be made on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in qualifying examination.

Bhabha University offers a full time B.Ed programme to the students through its affiliated colleges. Candidates who want to take admission to the B.Ed programme must meet the minimum eligibility requirement. Bhabha University B.Ed admission can be availed by candidates who have passed Graduation or Post Graduation examination in any subject with minimum score of 50% and BE/ Science (Mathematics) with 55% marks. Candidates willing to take admission in BPEd course through Calicut University Common Admission Test (CUCAT) must have done Class 12 rom Kerala State Board or any recognised board in any stream with Physical Education as a subject and should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate.
