Yes, in the third semester of the B.Ed programme, students need to do an internship. The whole of third semester comprising of 16 weeks will be devoted to internship related activities. The said internship will consist of three Phases: Pre-internship, Internship and Post-internship. During internship student teachers interact with the teachers, students, administrators and community including parents and try to understand the problems of schools and students which helps in their development as a teacher. 

A total of 100 seats are available at Mizoram University campus for B.Ed programme. Up to 10% of seats may be assigned to students from other disciplines. Below is the intake for B.Ed at Mizoram University affiliated colleges:

The following documents are required to apply for the admission in BEd course at MIT School of Education and Research . Students should make sure to check the eligibility criteria for the admission first.

• Class 10 and Class 12 Certificate and Mark sheet
• Graduation Final year consolidated Mark sheet
• Provisional Certificate or Graduation Degree
• Masters’ Final year consolidated Mark sheet (if applicable)
• Provisional Certificate or Master Degree (if applicable)
• Migration Certificate (need to submit the original by the end of Nov)
• six coloured photographs of the candidate.

Aspirants must have MAH-CET (B.Ed-General + ELCT) or PERA CET scores for admission to B.Ed programme at MIT School of Education and Research. Hence, entrance exam is required for admission in B.Ed programme.

Aspirants must complete a bachelor's degree from a university recognised by UGC with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category, EWS and PwD candidates from Maharashtra) to apply for B.Ed programme at MIT School of Education and Research.

Osmania University accepts APEdCET scores for admission to the B.Ed course. As per APEdCET cutoff 2022 for BEd stood at 942 for Osmania University for the General category All India candidates.
