On Admissions
Q:   When is JNVU - Jai Narain Vyas University application forms out?
A:

The application form of the JNVC comes out in the month of the September and they conduct entrance test for the admisson in the college and it's take approximately one to two month for the whole process and some courses have interviews also so it will take time for that. I would also recommend you to visit the official website.

Q:   What is the JEE Main 2026 exam date for Session 2 ?
A:

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam takes place in the month of April every year. Whereas, the application form for Session 2 will be available on the JEE Mains website. The exam is conducted by NTA.

Q:   Will NEET 2024 be delayed?
A:

NEET 2024 was conducted on May 5, 2024. NTA announced the exam date on September 19, approximately eight months in advance. NTA has decided the exam date after much deliberation and assessing situations such as Board exam schedule, other exams, etc. Over the past few years, NEET exam date was delayed owing to the pandemic situation, which affected the overall academic calendar. To bring back normalcy, NTA conducted NEET UG 2024 in May, similar to the pre-pandemic era after much brainstorming and assessing other entrance exam dates. Howrver, NEET 2024 will be reconducted on June 23, 2024, for 1,563 candidates who were given grace marks. The Supreme Court of India has asked NTA not to delay the admission process. Hence, NTA will release the result of the retest on June 30, 2024, and the counselling process will begin in July 2024.

I recommend students to join here if they want a good government college.
Placements: Placement ratio is overall good for the college. If I talk about my department placement ratio, then the ratio or percentage is more than 80%, so that's good for students. The highest package offered this year is 15 LPA, which is offered by the Cvent company. Many companies like Miniorange, Tech Mahindra, Havells, etc., hire students.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is okay. There are many new labs in my department. Processors of CPU are very good, like 4050 GPU of 12 GB and 32 GB ram, which is a very advanced system. There are also 5G labs in my department. Wi-Fi is okay, but the hostel's infrastructure is old and not good for use. Water leaks from the roof of the bathroom. Food quality is overall bad. At the start, the cook was good, but then made it the worst. The canteen is good.
Faculty: Faculty members in my department are new. Mostly, there are guest faculty members. Teaching quality is okay. Some teachers are good and attend classes, but some don't. The course curriculum is good. It is future-focused as it focuses on placement. It is also good for GATE. More than 95% of the GATE syllabus is covered by the college syllabus. Semester exams are held mostly in December and in May, but results are declared very late. The December exam results come after 15 May.

B.E. in Mining Engineering - Batch of 2028

Good only for placement in mining which is also going worse in the upcoming year.
Placements: Vedanta has placed 7 students this year and 5 students have been placed in Gujarat PSU companies. Apart from this 5 more students have recently secured placements with packages above 5 LPA. The placement states are good but becoming worse than in the past.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi and no good machinery in lab but the facilities I think should be improved as per the ranking of the mining department and the hostel is not so good. Only few rooms in the department have no proper facilities and they follow the old curriculum.
Faculty: Only few teachers remain this year but they are all good-natured and helpful. You can pass the semester easily in one night. Just behave properly in class and do not fight with the professor and the mining department helps to visit the mine.
Other: Many scholarships are available but not so good events are held.

B.E. in Mining Engineering - Batch of 2029
Offered by MBM Engineering College
3.2
4.0Placements3.0Infrastructure3.0Faculty3.0Crowd & Campus Life3.0Value for Money
It is an average college, but it is value for money.
Placements: The overall placements are average. The average package offered across all branches is 6 LPA. Around 50 -60 percent of students get placements. In the mining branch, the highest package offered was 16 LPA in 2024, which has been reduced to 6.75 LPA in 2025, but it is higher than the tech branches of the college. The placement percentage is the highest in the civil engineering course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is miserable for 1st year students as the classes are conducted in a lecture theatre hall, which doesn't even have fans. The condition of departments is better. On the south campus of the college, all departments, including mechanical, electrical, and electronics, have very old equipment and machinery, which doesn't match today's work standards. Hostel infrastructure lacks maintenance. The mess food is not good. Sports facilities have the same condition as grounds are not maintained at all.
Faculty: Many faculty members are old and experienced. At the same time, the college curriculum lacks modern requirements. Especially in the 1st year, we don't learn about our own branch, we still study a lot of subjects which are not relevant at all. 2 mid term exams are conducted, but the result system lacks a lot. It is very slow as results of the 1st semester are still not released till the end of the second semester.

Not all government colleges are bad, but my college is very bad.
Placements: 20-30% of students were placed. The lowest average package is 2 LPA, while the highest average package is 10-12 LPA. Companies like Google, Apple, and Microsoft are included. 10-15% of students got internships with small hire companies, not the top big companies. Basic knowledge of programming languages like C++, Java, etc., is required.
Infrastructure: My college is a government college, so classrooms, the library, and Wi-Fi are all in very bad condition, and some things are not working. I'm living in a village, so I don't know about the hostel or canteen. There are no medical facilities or sports activities. In the last 2 years, I haven't seen any sports activities.
Faculty: When exams come, I go to my college because the teachers are not helpful and not knowledgeable. This course is very good and offers a good future for students. Semester exams are very difficult, but we all passed very easily, and the pass percentage is above 40% per subject.
Other: I'm choosing this course because my big brother is already in this industry. BCA is a very good course, and this industry is growing fast day by day. There are no fests or events, and the campus is very bad. I have PM scholarships of 5000/- per annum.

Heartbroken by the teacher's practical teaching.
Placements: EInfochips, Eximietas design, Whisper control, Defence Electronics, Able house, The digital world, Vidyat Energy systems were the designing and electronics-based core companies that were looking forward to recruitment in the branch of Physics for the mean package starting at 3.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus was located in the familiar location of Jodhpur, and it was easily reached by the students from various locations with easily accessible transportation around the college. Seven hostels were present within the campus with individual messes for all the hostels to avoid chaos.
Faculty: Faculty members did not had any extreme level of clarity in any of the practical concepts. They just read out the theoretical portions and completed the portion. This led to severe headaches during practical examinations, which caused us to score the lowest grade.

Reviewing my college and hostel life.
Placements: Almost 30 percent of students got placed from our course. The lowest package is 2 LPA and the highest value of the package is above 1 LPA offered. So I think that it would be a good amount. Many students have internships and the role of advisors in different fields.
Infrastructure: In the hostel we have all facilities that we need like internet availability for 24/7, books, and a much-needed environment. In our hostel we can concentrate on our studies and can do some entertainment things like playing and having fun. In the hostel we have a playground for sports like cricket, volleyball, and other sports.
Faculty: Our college teachers are very kind and friendly towards us. They help in our difficulties and the bad phase like sometimes they motivate us for our future. In the mid-term examination and the main exam. In semester exams we all take it seriously and do our best to pass it with good performance.
Other: I think I chose the right course for my future because it is very helpful in any field.
