The purpose of the APSET exam is to certify qualified applicants for the positions of assistant professor and lecturer. This is a state-level exam for the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is administered by the Andhra University of Visakhapatnam. There are 30 subjects in total for which you can apply, including life sciences and law. Yes, you can take the UPTET exam with your NTT Diploma. You are eligible to apply for a teaching position in primary classes. According to the eligibility criteria of UPTET, one can appear for this exam if they have done any of the following:
1. A Bachelor's degree with an NTT Diploma course
2. A Bachelor's degree with two years of B. T. C.
3. A two-year Diploma (D. Ed. ) and a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with at least 50% of the required marks.

No, you cannot teach everywhere in India with your APSET scores. This is because the APSET is a state-level test conducted by Andhra University. If you pass this exam, you will be eligible for positions as assistant professors and lecturers in Andhra Pradesh's colleges and universities. This exam is conducted for around 30 subjects, and based on your master's, you can teach in whichever subject you have qualified for. If you want to apply at any other state- or national-level university, you have to qualify for the UGC NET exam conducted by the NTA.
