Clearing the PSTET (Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test) exam is an essential eligibility criterion for candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary and upper primary schools in the state of Punjab. However, clearing the PSTET exam does not guarantee an immediate teaching job. The PSTET qualification makes you eligible to apply for teaching positions in government schools, aided schools, and private schools in Punjab that recognize PSTET as a requirement.
