- Candidates should graduate with a minimum of 50% aggregate
- Candidates should have completed the prescribed teacher training programs/teacher education courses

Passing the CG TET exam makes you eligible to apply for teacher job in Chhattisgarh. However, clearing the CG TET does not guarantee a teaching job. Candidates need to give the teacher recruitment test to become a teacher in the government schools, aided schools, and private schools in Chhattisgarh.
