In Technical University of Berlin, BE in mechanical engineering is taught in German but in the 4th year some courses may be taught in English. You need to prove that you are good at German by passing German language test, e.g., Testdaf of any other.

Both are good but TUM is ranked above TUB.

In Technical University of Berlin, there are a few courses taught in English. You must think of any other universities like Carl's Benz School, etc.

These are universities with minimal fees. But the living costs are expensive. In Munich;
Accommodation (by studentenwerk) - 240-300 euros
Food (self-cooking)- 130 euros
Internet -20 euros
Transport + tuition fees- 150 euros
Total- 540 euros/ month or Rs. 43000/ month
If you work in a part-time job, you can cover your monthly expenses.

Diplomas are not accepted. You are advised to check with DAAD India.

Hi Anuj, the only way to get into TU Berlin is to be an excellent student. If you have around 95% and above and excellent research work skills you will have a chance.

Recommended GPA is 3 out of 5. The higher your grades the better the chances of admissions. Admitted students have percentile score of around 85 and above.
