Hi Shail,
I would say that it will be too early to prepare for MBA. First you focus on your graduation and then decide. It's not just about a degree as it's all about subjects and interests. Go ahead positively and ask again after graduation.

This is the real test for MBA, how did you manage your time? See, time management is essential for cracking CAT. According to me, what you can do is every day give your 2 hours for CAT preparation. Once you get the free time from your engineering lectures, don't start new topic for CAT but revise what you studied earlier because, in this panic situation, it is very likely that you forget either CAT concepts or your B.Tech concepts and both are necessary for top B-School. Remember, scoring 99%ile in CAT may not get you a prestigious MBA college, but you have to equally focus on your B.Tech score card as it has a lot of weight
