Students seeking to enroll into the Master of Education (MEd) programme at BSAEU must note that the admissions at the university are held on the basis of merit + 50-mark examination. As such, there is no prescribed cutoff criteria for the MEd course. At Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University, students must obtain valid scoring in their previous qualifying examination and appear for the in-house entrance test.

Baba Saheb Ambedkar provides quality teacher training courses at fees that is fairly affordable to students. A variety of financial assistance fee-waiver scholarship schemes are also offered by the administration of BSAEU Kolkata. The fees for the flagship BEd courses at WBUTTEPA is INR 14,600, which is inclusive of all the particulars like tuition fee, library fee, computer fee, etc. The fees for the MEd course is INR 19,000.
