Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University is located in Kolkata and offers a large variety of courses in different specializations. Candidates seeking admissions into the Master of Education (MEd) programme at WBUTTEPA Kolkata can commence the registration process by visiting the official website. They can begin by registering themselves and filling up the online application form. Students must note that admissions into the WBUTTEPA MEd courses is done on the basis of an entrance exam of 50 marks.

After the successful submission of the form and the one-time application fees, the university would conduct the screening and shortlisting process. Thereafter, the student can expect to receive the admission correspondence from Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University.

Students can find the points mentioned below for eligibility:

  • A full-time graduate with 50% aggregate. 

  • BTech with Science or Maths with 55% aggregate. A relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks will be allowed in graduation or post-graduation in case of reserved category, i.e., SC/ST/PWD (minimum disability 40% aggregate) candidates. 

  • That is, in such instances minimum of 45% aggregate will be required instead of 50% aggregate.

Candidates required to pay an application fee of INR 600 for the General, EWS, OBC-A/OBC-B category. Furthermore, the application fee for the MEd course is INR 750 (INR 450 for SC/ST/PWD) category. However, the application fee for SC/ST and PWD students is INR 350. The application fee for WBUTTEPA University is only for self-financed colleges. Students need to pay INR 1,000 (at the time of counselling) as a counselling fee which will be non-refundable.
