The application deadlines for international students at Thompson Rivers University vary by intakes, programs, capacity and eligibility for pre-assessment. TRU's pre-assessment process is currently applicable only to the following eligible nationalities: Bangladesh, Ghana, India, Iran and Nigeria. Yes, Thompson Rivers University requires IELTS for admission into undergraduate and graduate programs. In case of undergraduate level of study, for direct entry into academic programs, IELTS score must be 6.5+ with no band below 6.0. In case of graduate programs, 6.0+ - 7.0+ IELTS score is required. Apart from IELTS, you can also submit scores of TOEFL / Duolingo / MET / CAEL (as applicable as per level of program).
