I think you should go for the SRM  for B.Tech biomedical or biotechnology or CSBS as it is well reputated college and it has the best lab facilities.

Accordingly, the TNEA cutoff date for admissions to Adhiparasakthi Engineering College (and other participating engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu) is tentatively July 10, 2025.

The 2024 TNEA cutoff ranks for the OC (Open Category) at Adhiparasakthi Engineering College were: Computer Science and Engineering approximately 82355, Information Technology approximately 94489, and Electronics and Communication Engineering approximately 141478. Other streams such as Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, and Civil Engineering had closing ranks over 190000. These are general category ranks; cutoffs differ for other categories. Since in Tamilnadu for the admission in B.E. /B.Tech admissions TNEA is held for all colleges. 

And in government colleges it is manadatory to appear in TNEA and then a merit will be prepared and according to merit you will get admission. 

But since MEC - Muthiammal Engineering College is a private college. Hence it offers direct admission also which is based on your 12th marks.
