Admission to B.E./B.Tech courses in GRT Institute of Engineering and Technology is primarily based on the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling, where your Class 12 marks are taken into account for merit-based selection. Students who get a rank in between 1-10000 in TNEA have a good chance of getting admission in best engineering schools. The college of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, SSN College of engineering, Chennai and Thiagarajar college of engineering, Madurai accepts admission to rank 1-10000 in TNEA.

The TNEA result date for Thiruvalluvar College of Engineering and Technology admission is provisionally fixed for July 10, 2025. Following the application schedule, which will be between May 6 and June 11, 2025, the results will be announced and then counseling will be done to enable students to book their admissions based on rank and preference. Yes, as an OCI cardholder, you are eligible to apply for TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) under the "Open Category". However, this eligibility does not apply if you were born in a foreign country after March 4, 2021

Candidates holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cards are permitted to participate in TNEA under the "Open Category". 

If you are a native of Tamil Nadu, you are also eligible to participate in TNEA.
