Yes, you are eligible for doing a diploma course in travel and tourism after 10th standard. 10th or equivalent is the minimum educational qualification which is required to pursue for diploma in travel and tourism. After completing 10th standard you can pursue for Advance Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management or Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management course.
Eligibility Criteria: -
The eligibility for admission to Travel and Tourism courses at the Diploma level is, 10th standard or its equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum 50% marks required in 10th standard.

Very few institutes offer this course and on the basis of my campus visit experience and interaction with professors I'd suggest Pondicherry University.

There are 100s of big companies & 1000s of small companies each having franchises in important cities where you can work. alternatively you can take a franchisee. Incomes would be upto Rs.600, 000/- per year as in 2016. Apply inflation to get the latest levels of income.

There are not so many colleges and universities who offer undergraduate course in travel and tourism, so it's better to choose a University which is good in this sector so i can suggest you Chandigarh University. There are many more also but as such in Delhi.
