IIT Bombay will release the question paper for the UCEED 2026 exam tentatively in the 4th week of January 2026. Typically, the question paper is released along side the draft answer key, a day or two after the conduct of the entrance exam. The candidate can download the question paper online. No log-in is required to download the question paper. Simply click on the question papers link; the question paper will open in downloadable pdf format. Download the question paper and also the answer key.

The sample paper will contain similar types of questions to the ones asked in UCEED exam. So, by solving them, candidates will be able to develop problem-solving and time-management skills.
Another thing is previous years' questions papers help to understand the types of questions asked, marking scheme, difficulty level, etc.

In the last few months leading up to the UCEED 2026 exam, the candidate needs to follow this routine: If you have maintained a note, ensure you regularly go through the important points. Do timely revision of all the topics, especially the sticky concepts. Solve as many sample papers you can. Also take mock tests to get into the exam mood. It is because if you mess up these last few days, all your efforts in the last few months and years could go down the drain: Here are a few tips to follow in the last few weeks leading up to the UCEED exam: Focus these last few days on revision Solve sample papers. To do well in UCEED 2026 exam, improve these skills: Improve your drawing skills - Practice free-hand drawing. Use 2 grades of pencil - H-grade to do rough work and B to do quick sketch and shading. Work on improving your creativity and be innovative Solve previous years question papers to improve problem-solving and time-management skills. Understand the basic concept of drawing, and learn various forms of drawing - composition, proportion, line drawing, etc. Taking mock tests will help the candidate get an idea as to how much time it takes to solve a section or question.

UCEED 2026 question paper will have two parts. Part A will be online and Part B will be offline. Part A will include Numerical Answer Type, Multiple Select Question and Multiple Choice Question. Part B will have sketching and drawing questions.

The Part A of the UCEED question paper will include questions from Visualization and spatial ability, Observation and design sensitivity, Environmental and social awareness, Analytical and logical reasoning, Language and creativity, and Design thinking and problem solving topics. Note that IIT Bombay will release the detailed syllabus at the time of issue of the admission notification or sometime thereabout.
