IIT Bombay UCEED cutoff 2026 was 16 for the General AI category in the last round. Hence, this category of students need a rank of at least 16 or lower to be qualified for admission. To know the IIT Bombay branch-wise cutoff 2026, students can check the table below.

Yes, 20 might be an excellent rank for gaining admission to the IIT Delhi BDes course if you belong to the General or OBC AI category. For both these categories, the last round closing ranks were 28 and 32, respectively.
Students can check the table below to know the highest rank accepted by different categories under the All India quota.

It is recommended that you solve sample papers for UCEED as early as possible in your exam preparation. For instance, you can start solving sample papers once you complete a chapter. What you need to do is find out all the problems related to the topic and solve. But take care not to dabble with questions that are related to topics that you haven not started at all. It is because it will only be an exercise in futility. You can keep on solving sample papers up to the last few days leading up to the exam. Note that as you complete the syllabus, you should be able to attempt the complete sample paper.

IIT Bombay will release the list of exam centres for UCEED . The name of the exam UCEED centre allocated to the candidate will be mentioned on the admit card. The candidate can check the list of exam cities in the information brochure. In the previous edition of UCEED the exam was administered in 27 cities across India.

The list of exam cities to hold UCEED Centres: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Ernakulam, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, and Visakhapatnam, Coimbatore, Ernakulam, and Mysuru.

The candidate is not allowed to select their own scribes for UCEED exam. Instead, the exam conducting body will arrange for a panel of scribes. The panel will be prepared in coordination with the test centre administrator (TCA) of the examination centre.
The candidate has to select a scribe from the given list.

UCEED exam will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours from 9 am - 12 noon. On the day of exam, the candidate needs to report at the exam centre at least 2 hours before exam commences. Candidate will have to report at 7 am. No candidate will be allowed entry inside the exam hall once the exam commences. So, the candidate must be punctual about reaching the UCEED exam venue.

IIT Bombay released the admission notification for UCEED 2027 on October 1, 2026. Candidates can check out the notification online at the UCEED admission portal.
