You Cannot Join Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture without UCEED for B.Des ( Bachelor in Interior Design) . 

According to the data from the official website, you must qualify the Class 12th Board examination from any Recognised Board or council from any stream with valid score in UCEED Entrance Examination.

You can get admission with the another entrances which are - SAT India and Chitkara University Design and Aptitude Test . 

You must Score minimum 60% marks in Class 12th or 60% Marks in UCEED to get a chance in their institution as per the previous cutoff reports .

The mean and standard deviation for Part-A in UCEED 2023 are 42.80 and 22.05. Which means the percentile should be above 75. Even though the 75 percentile might increase if the exam which conducted is easy. Note that the Part-B answer booklets will be evaluated only if the candidate meets the Part-A cutoff. If the candidate fails to meet the cutoff in Part-A, then the Part-B answer booklet will not be evaluated. The cutoff might vary every year depending on the difficulty of the exam.

Earlier, IIT Bombay announced the qualifying cutoff for UCEED 2024 alongside the UCEED 2024 results. For General category candidates, the passing marks for UCEED 2024 are set at 55.42. Additionally, on February 8, 2024, the UCEED 2024 cutoff was released in terms of mean and standard deviation.UCEED cutoff 2024 is released in the form of opening and closing ranks for admission to IITs. Earlier, IITB released the UCEED qualifying cutoff 2024 along with results. The Part A cutoff marks are released by IIT Bombay on February 8, 2024. The standard and mean deviations of the cut-off were made public. For Part-A (CEED 2024), the mean and standard deviation are 41.90 and 16.72, respectively. Comparatively, CEED 2023 had a mean deviation of 22.59 and a standard deviation of 11.82. The cut-off is utilised to determine which candidates are the shortest; take notice that only those who are shortlisted will have their Part B answer booklets examined. Furthermore, each candidate who makes the short list will receive a merit rank, making them eligible to take part in the seat allocation procedure.

No, there is no change in the UCEED 2026 exam pattern. On its official website, IIT Bombay announced the UCEED 2026 exam syllabus and pattern. The exam will have two parts like previous year.

Candidates can use the previous year's papers to practice for the exam. The more sample papers you solve, the better you will get. The question papers are available on the official website under the download section.

Part A has 57 questions and Part B will have two questions.

The UCEED question paper will be of 3 hours and include two parts - The computer-based Part A and the offline-based Part B. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both the paper. 

Also, Part B paper answer booklets will only be evaluated if the candidate qualifies Part A. IIT Bombay will release the cut-off marks for Part A before the declaration of results. 

Part A will include the following types of questions: Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Multiple Select Question (MSQ) Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). Part A will now include 57 questions.

IIT Bombay conducted the UCEED 2026 exam on January 18, 2026 from 9 AM- 12 PM. UCEED Test was conducted at the centres. The reporting time was 7 AM.

Yes, there will be biometric verification at the UCEED 2026 exam centre. The biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) will be collected from the candidate before the commencement of the exam. On exam day, the candidate needs to bring with them a valid photo id proof and the admit card. Note that the photo id proof must be in the original; photocopies will not be accepted. Note that the candidate needs to report at the UCEED 2026 exam centre at least 2 hours before the commencement of the exam.

IIT Bombay released the list of exam centres for UCEED 2026. The name of the exam UCEED 2026 centre allocated to be candidate will be mentioned on the admit card. The candidate can check the list of exam cities in the information brochure. In the previous edition of UCEED the exam was administered in 27 cities across India. The candidate had to select their choice of exam city at the time of filling out the application form.
