UCEED

UCEED seat allotment will be provisional and will be confirmed by admitting institutes only after fees are paid, documents are duly verified, and their formalities are completed. 

If any of the steps are left incomplete, the seat allotment can be cancelled.

In such a case, the vacant seats will be offered to the candidate next in the order of merit.

As per the information given in the UCEED 2026 information brochure, 10% of seats in every course will be reserved for Gen-EWS category. 

Note that to apply under this category, you must meet the conditions given in the OM No. 20013/01/2018-BC-II, issued by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. When applying for UCEED 2026, you can select your category.

You can download candidate responses for Part-A of UCEED only till the declaration of the UCEED result. The download option will be disabled once the UCEED results are declared. No further requests will be entertained in this regard.

The evaluated answer booklets of Part-B will not be shared with the candidates. Further, the answer booklets of Part – B will be preserved ONLY for a period of three months from the date of declaration of the UCEED results.

Part B answer booklets will be evaluated manually. The panel will have two expert evaluators who will do the evaluation separately and independently.

UCEED 2027 counseling will be conducted by IIT Bombay. The counseling process will have five rounds. The Joint Admission Process will not have any spot rounds.

No, Institute of Design, Nirma University admission to BDes courses is entrance-based. The college slected applicants based on UCEED entrance exam score. To get admission, candidates are required to have a good score in UCEED entrance exam. Further, candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria and apply online on the official website. The final seat allotment is based on the UCEED score, followed by PI round.

IIT Bombay will conduct the counseling process for UCEED for B.Des admission only. 

Candidates who have qualified in CEED exam need to apply directly to the participating college. Note that IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Admission Process for CEED . So, once CEED results are declared, go to the admission portal of the participating institutions for updates.

The counseling fee of UCEED is neither refundable nor transferable. So, when making the payment, the candidate needs to be sure about their participation. UCEED counseling will have five seat allotment rounds. 

Once the UCEED 2026 counseling process is over, the candidate is not allowed to shift from one institute to another. The candidate will have to select their preferred institute at the time of counseling registration.

IIT Bombay will conduct UCEED 2026 counseling registration in March 2026. Candidates who have been allotted a merit rank can apply.
