The answer to this question depends on the course opted by the candidates. UCEED is a design entrance test and is required for BDes programme. JK Lakshmipat University conducts JKLU Design Entrance Test (DET) at national-level for admission to BDes programme. Hence, aspirants can take admission in BDes without UCEED score.

A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2025 OR 2026 to be eligible for attempting UCEED 2026. Students from ALL STREAMS (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible. Only those students who have passed Class XII (or equivalent) in the year 2025 in all subjects or are appearing in the year 2026 in ANY STREAM (Science, Commerce, or Arts & Humanities) for the first time are eligible to appear for the UCEED 2026 [See ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR APPEARING IN UCEED for complete details]. The UCEED entrance exam is bifurcated into two parts namely, Part A and Part B.
