Yes, you are eligible to appear in the NET Exam. As EVS is also related to zoology you can go for the UGC NET Evs. But I would like to suggest you that go for the CSIR NET Life Science Exam as it is more relevant to the subject in which you are pursuing your postgraduation.

Yes, the minimum eligibility criteria to become eligible for the UGC NET Exam is having a master's degree with 55% aggregate marks. The candidates who belong from the reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Transgenders) will get the relaxations in the required percentage for the NET Exam.
There is no age limit to appear in NET Exam for Lectureship but if you are going to apply for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) then the maximum age limit is 30 years. I hope it helps.

Hello,
Check the syllabus well. Mark the easy and important topics. Always follow the basic strategy- understand the topic, make short notes, close your eye & try to recall the topic, read it again (if concept includes calculation or derivation, rather that recalling practice it). Now solve the relevant questions on it. Analyze your performance and work on the weak sections. Never take UGC NET Paper 1 for granted. It is a practical subject which requires a lot of practice and it is capable enough to fetch you good marks.
