Yes, the University of Canterbury give a work permit to its international students. A three-year open (non-market) tested post-study employment visa is available to international students who have graduated from UC. This permits students to work for up to three years in any sector, career, and location in New Zealand. Yes, University of Canterbury permits international students to work while studying. All international students who have a valid visa are permitted to work while enrolled at the University of Canterbury. According to New Zealand's legislation regarding part-time employment, students are permitted to work no more than 20 hours each week. Summer and holiday breaks, however, allow students to work longer hours. Students also show interested in part-time jobs in New Zealand for international students.
