According to the comparison given below, in the rankings published by ARWU Rankings 2024, the University of Canterbury ranks better than Massey University as it showed a decline in it's rankings over the years, on the other hand, the University of Canterbury rankings stay constant since the year 2023.

There is no application fee chargeable to international students while applying to the University Canterbury, which means that aspirants can apply to UC free of cost. However, there is a refundable deposit of NZD 500 (INR 24.4 K) that is required at the time of enrolment. This deposit can be refunded in case a student is unable to join the university after being enrolled. International students must provide a valid reason behind the same and request for the refund.
