Yes, the University requires IELTS. However, it also approves other English tests such as TOEFL, TEOFL iBT, Duolingo that were completed within 2 years of the applicant's course date at the University of California Davis campus. 

The following score is the requirement of IELTS for UG and PG for UC Davis:

Below are the MS requirements for UC Davis:

The following are the requirements for an MS at UC Davis: 

  • LOR: Some MS programs ask for a 3 LOR’s, with particular exceptions. However, UC Davis strictly doesn’t accept Duplicate letters.

For international undergraduate candidates, the application filing cost is USD 80 per campus.However for PG courses the application fee is USD 155.  This fee is typically non-refundable and covers the cost of processing and viewing the applications. It is important to note that the Application fee differs from the other fees.  However, the application fee might vary depending on the intake, and it’s suggested that students should check the official for more information depending on the course and requirements.

UC Davis is a public university and known for various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in agriculture, Business, veterinary medicine and other sciences. The UC Davis applicants  must earn at least a 2.80 GPA. However, UC Davis requires a minimum 2.80 GPA to be selected for admission, and many of our most popular programs may require a higher GPA. Applicants are  recommended to have a strong academic profile, including competitive scores in the GMAT or GREs.  However, the admission process at UC Davis takes a holistic approach, considering multiple factors in the student's profile.

The UC Davis acceptance rate is 41% for international students (only UG). The University specifically mentioned the percentage on its website and has 13 factors it wants in its students. The University wants it’s applicants to have a GPA in A courses, honours coursework, UC-approved courses, top 9%class rank, and quality marks in all subjects. GRE is required for most of the programs but not for all of the graduate courses.
