UPES Admission Process

UPES admission 2026 is currently open for various courses. The application process at UPES Dehradun is conducted online. Students can check the list of documents required for admission below:

UPES Dehradun conducts its application process in online mode. The application fee for all courses is INR 1,750 each. Candidates can pay the registration fee online. Students can check the step-wise application process below:

UPES admissions are conducted on the basis of both merit and entrance exams. The university conducts several national-level entrance exams for admission such as CUET, CLAT, GATE, NEET, CAT, etc. To get admitted to University of Petroleum Dehradun, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of the course. 

Yes, UPES does offer scholarships for its MBA students. The scholarship is offered based on Graduation/ National Level Exam (NMAT) scores or CAT percentile. Check the table below to know about the UPES MBA scholarships:

UPES accepts several entrance tests for admission to its courses. These are excluding the university-level exams (UPESMET, UPESEAT, UPESMET UG). See the table below to know about all the exams accepted by the university:

Yes, UPES Dehradun does accept CAT scores for MBA admissions. Students with a valid CAT score of 50 percentile or above are eligible to apply for the course. Eligible students have to appear for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds for final selection.

All courses admission to UPES Dehradun are open for 2024. Admission to UPES is solely determined by entrance. A minimum of 50% in class 10 and class 12, with 50% in PCM (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) in class 12, is required for admission to the B.Tech program. Candidates may also apply using their JEE Mian and CUET results; to get admitted using their SAT India score, they must score at least 50%. To admit students to B.Tech programs, the university also administers its own UPESEAT exam.
