The needed rank would depend on the category, round and branch. For the General AI category, the highest rank acceptable in the first round is 600000. Hence, General AI category students need a rank of at least 600000 to be wualffied fir admission in 2026.

UPES Dehradun JEE Main cutoff 2026 for the General AI category ranges from 450000 to 600000 in the first round. The most competitive specialisations for admission are BTech CSE, followed by BTech in Aerospace Engineering (Avionics) and BTech in Aerospace Engineering (Space Technology). All 3 branches had the Round 1 closing ranks of 450000, 500000 and 500000, respectively.

Admissions are based on CUET UG scores followed by personal interview. University accepts SAT/ IB/ CIE scores as well for admissions in courses like Economics with Data Science, Economics and Finance and Psychology and Behaviour.

Last date for UPES Dehradun BSc (Hons) applications is generally in last week of June. Students can fill the application form and apply through official website. Admission dates can change as per university guidelines.

Yes, BSc (Hons) is provided by UPES Dehradun. The course is offered in many specialisations for four years. Some specialisations are Economics with Data Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, etc. Admissions in the course are based on entrance score and personal interview.
