B.Voc is UGC approved UG course m it's like most other UG programs. But thing is B.Voc course enhance skill based education rather than traditional theoretical approach it gives practical exposure to graduates B.Voc graduate can apply for civil service exams and you are also eligible for UPSC iFoS exam easily.

Yes, you are eligible for UPSC exam. But there are some eligibility criteria which you need to fulfill in order to appear for UPSC exam. Some I have mentioned below and you can refer to the UPSC notification for detailed information. Nationality for IAS exam: Must be a citizen of India, a person of Indian origin or a subject of Nepal, Bhutan or Tibet settled in India before 1st January 1962. Education Qualification for IAS exam: Candidate must hold a Graduate Degree from a recognised University. No, it is not necessary for one to clear UPSC exam to get into the Intelligence Bureau. There are various exams through which one can join the Intelligence Bureau based on their educational qualification. These exams include
1. IB ACIO
2. SSC CGL ASO in Intelligence Bureau
3. IB Security Assistant and MS
4. SSC CHSL as Lower Division Clerk
5. UPSC exam.

UPSC consists of 3 levels
1) Prelims
2)Mains
3) Interview
In Prelims you just need to score the cutoff marks.
Coming to the mains and interview someone is required to score here only.
UPSC has nothing to do with stream but someone from commerce has strong basis of finance can choose optional accordingly but I have people take political science. Geography etc has option as they are also present in Prelims and mains you just need some expertise in it.

Education Qualification for IAS exam: Candidate must hold a Graduate Degree from a recognised University. UPSC Civil Services Exam Age Limit: Candidate must be a minimum of 21 years of age and must not be more than 32 years of age. General Category & EWS: 32 years; 6 attempts. You should choice the option which is subject you interested you choice for option because it's good chance to score more mark in the subject you know well you have a good knowledge.

When you preparing for UPSC you need to read every thing in a syllabus but a big part of UPSC is related to history and modern history so it's useful if you chose arts and learn every thing then you need to only revice the syllabus and you save time in completing syllabus
choosing Arts or the humanities in your 11 and 12th and graduation can be really helpful for your UPSC examination, this is because in Arts you will be learning subjects like history, polity etc. Which are a part of the UPSC syllabus so it will help you in your UPSC examination.

UPSC releases separate lists of centres for civil services preliminary and for Mains examination. Candidates should check the list of UPSC exam centres that would make it easy for them to select the nearest and most convenient venue to write the exam.
