Various colleges in U. S have varying levels of IELTS requirement. The top colleges would require you to have a 7 band, whereas other colleges would require a min. Of 5.5-6. But, this would vary. So decide a college based on your IELTS score, or try improving it.

Hi Rush,
It's good that you want to do MBA but with the budget constraint of 25 Lacs rupees, you can't get the good colleges in India itself. The top notch college (ISB Hyderabad- 35 lacs, Iims ~25-30 lacs, IIFT -25 lacs, MDI~ 30 lacs) of India require that amount. So obviously you need some more. Funding for foreign MBA. Depending upon the country and college you need somewhere around 1-1.5 crores for your total MBA expenses (considering no scholarships). Hope this helps. Upvote the answer if you feel satisfied. Ask any questions at anytime.
Good Luck.

Doing financial engineering (I. e., Quantitative Finance) from US is a good course. Work experience is not compulsory but highly recommend before applying. If you see the progression diversification among students in university like MIT or Wharton, you will see the average work experience for domestic students (US, Canada) is 3-4 years or for foreign students it is between 6-7 years. Because in those years, you will get a lot of practical exposure in your field which is important (even much important than your marks). Therefore, I suggest you to focus on all the aspects of your application before applying.
