This is not the problem that you want to change your stream. However, the question is that if you are eligible for University of California or not? Certain things matters like, your graduation CGPA, Work experience in relevant field (which is very important), employers brand value, extracurricular etc. These are some of the broad parameters to judge the candidacy of the Student. You can study construction management, project management, urban planning and design, interior architecture, landscape design depending in your personal interest, US has a huge scope for architects but nowadays its difficult for Indians and other foreigners after Trump administration. You can go through some job portals and see vacancies, try to get in touch with some university student and alumni association, its easy through facebook and LinkedIn now. Be proactive.
