Career opportunities for Travel & Tourism degree holders exist both in the public and private sector. In the public sector, there are opportunities in the Directorates and Departments of Tourism of the center and the state as Officers, information assistants, Tourist guides etc. Another good prospect for qualified tourism professionals are in the private sector with travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, hotels , transport and cargo companies etc.

Hello Nayan, For Travel & Toursm courses you can check colleges like Acia Pacific Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, UTM Shillong & Jindal School of Hotel Management Gujarat. All are reputed and have great faculty, curriculum and infrastructure.

Its up to your attitude and aptitude, I mean where you want to see yourself after the completion of the course. Engineering is the most sought after course these days considering pay structure, social status and acceptance of the society. But this does not mean that Travel and Tourism is a bad sector, especially when you are interested to serve in this area. You may also learn a few foreign languages if you are interested in belonging to travel and tourism sector.
