Around 570+ colleges are affiliated with VBSPU, amongst which, there are colleges situated in Jaunpur with 2 government-aided colleges, 14 are aided and 203 are self-financed colleges. Whereas, the colleges situated in the Ghazipur district have 3 government-aided colleges, 8 aided, and 343 self-financed colleges which make a total of 354 affiliated colleges, respectively.

After considering all the specialisations, around 50%-70% of seats are allocated to the candidates who qualify the accepted entrances such as PUCAT, and JEE Main. For UG and PG courses, the CUET exam scores are taken into consideration for admission to fill 50% of seats. For courses such as BTech, JEE Main’s scores are considered to allocate 70% of seats, and the remaining 30% are allocated via the PUCAT exam. Some courses such as BCA and diplomas require the PUCAT exam after the qualification of 10+2.

Yes, Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University owns UGC recognition. The University also owns an ‘A+’ NAAC accreditation with a 3.28 CGPA score. Apart from these recognitions, VBSPU provides several benefits to students on board. It offers corporate world exposure through job fairs and several training and certification programs. The total intake capacity for the DPharma course offered at VBSPU Jaunpur is 66. The university filled up the seats based on some factors. Applicants applying for admission to the DPharma course are supposed to have passed the basic eligibility criteria set by the university for verification of admission.
