NMAT registration for MBA admissions in VIT Chennai has started, the registrations opened on Aug 1, 2024, and will go on till Oct 20, 2024. Along with NMAT and XAT; CAT registration is also open for 2025 and candidates can apply for them to secure admission to an MBA at VIT Chennai.
Candidates can apply for MBA admissions through the CAT/XAT/ GMAT/ NMAT or MAT entrance exam. Registration for XAT and NMAT are open while CAT registrations are closed for the admission cycle 2024.

VIT Chennai admission to PhD course is based on entrance-exam. The institute conducts VITREE for admission to PhD course. VITREE is a computer-based test of two hours conducted at the test venue opted by the candidate. Selected candidates are further called for a personal interview round.

A pass in 10+2 with an overall aggregate of 60% with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects and valid NATA score.He/She must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying exam. However, the minimum percentage marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states is 50%.
