The Integrated M.Tech. in Software Engineering at VIT Chennai is a five-year program designed for students to have an extensive knowledge on software engineering and development. Admission into this program is pegged mainly on the candidate's achievement at the Higher Secondary Examination which is a 12th grade supplemented with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as a basic requirement. The crashing aggregate qualification set for a general category applicants is at seventy percent in PCM.
