VIT Chennai offers scholarships for its MBA programs to students based upon their scores in CAT/MAT/XAT exams. The official website of VIT Chennai does not mention any category-wise scholarships.

The total first year fee of MBA at VIT Chennai is inr 3,51,500. Candidates must make an advance payment of INR 1 Lacs to confirm their admission in the MBA programme at VIT Chennai. Later they have to pay the balance first year fee of INR 2,51,500.

VIT Chennai admits students to its programs based upon merit. Students are given admission to the MBA programme based upon the eligibility criteria and scores in the entrance exam and Personal Interview. There are no seats reserved exclusively for students belonging to Jammu & Kashmir in the MBA program. But a relaxation is given to Jammu & Kashmir students in the eligibility criteria of MBA. They are given a 10% relaxation in the minimum aggregate of the undergraduate degree.

VIT Chennai admits eligible students to its MBA programme according to the following criteria:
1. Academic performance of the candidate in the undergraduate degree.
2. Performance of the candidate in either VITBEE 2026 or the best valid score among CAT / XAT / MAT exams.
3. Candidates with high scores in CAT are considered for early admission.
4. Personal Interview
5. Work experience is considered an added advantage for selection.
