There is no donation fee here.
Let me explain you the system. The system is very simple, for a particular branch there are few seats (Eg. 250 seats) in first category. First category could be understood as the seats given to the merit holders of VITEEE. The fees here is minimum and actually very cheap. Generally, VITEEE rank holders up to 20K can only contest for these seats. Then there is category 2 which again comprises of 230 seats and in this category, the fee is little high (you may say it includes donations in the fee). So, your fee for category two will be more for every branch and generally students over 20K rank contest test fo

Minimum rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000 so you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well with each category admission fees go high. First category closed till 15000 rank and u can get CSE till 9000 rank and IT till 11000 rank but there are 2nd category as well if you want CSE but you have to pay more for that.

VIT has their own system of giving ranks. They give mild weightage to your board marks and whether it's your first attempt or not. Number of questions attempted also have upper hand. Level of paper will be higher than boards but for sure lower than JEE Mains. Some questions may be tricky. Just prepare and try to attempt all questions. Rank upto 9000 will land you with CSE in VIT, Vellore and upto 12,000 in VIT Chennai in first category. Otherwise you can pay more and get in 2nd category.

I think you should go for ITM Navi Mumbai. But, ITM provides you with PGDM degree not an MBA degree. For an MBA degree, go for VIT Vellore. Overall fees is INR 5.98 Lacs. VIT MBA Admission offers two-year MBA and MBA (IB) programmes, which consists of six trimesters. Students can choose a range of elective subjects from areas such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology and Systems, International Business, Operations and Business Analytics. The MBA programme is offered out of the Chennai as well as Vellore campuses. The VIT MBA Admission 2018 in International business is available only at the Vellore campus.

It is a good faculty. I did my M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering from there. The course is very well designed. And the best part is, it has a lot of Project based learning courses which actually gives you an experience to work on real world problems. The faculty members are very experienced and helpful. Also the course gives you ample opportunity to learn a lot of things by your way (research as well as practical knowledge). Let me know if you have any further queries or question. I would be happy to help. Best regards.
