Hi lalit,
Visual effects (commonly shortened to Visual F/X or VFX) involve the integration of live-action footage and generated imagery to create environments which look realistic, but would be dangerous, costly, or simply impossible to capture on film.
For instance, a movie that shows the hero jumping off the ground and flying into the air, is created using VFX. Almost every single movie these days uses VFX. Similarly in game design, there are certain set of backgrounds, or stunts performed by the character that maybe beyond reality, hence the use of VFX.

A visualizer bring bring creative ideas to life, either digitally or in print.They use their technical & artistic skills to convert thoughts into images.It is also a concept in still photography.It is applied to techniques such as storyboarding, either in the form of charcoal drawn sketches or in digital technology in the planning and conceptualization of movie scenery make up.A visualizer helps the director to experiment with different staging and art direction options—such as lighting, camera placement and movement, stage direction and editing.

Rajat, job security happen when you take some insecure education like a Degree. When you are directly acquiring skills that are required by the market where does the question of job security come up? Instead of only looking at VFx look for complete AVGC industry initially, so that you have the option to pick up the industry. Recruiters like Animation Studios, Production Houses, TV Advertising Companies, Architectural Visualization Companies, Movie Makers(Animation & Bollywood),TV Channels, E-learning Companies, Internet Companies, Mobile & Console Gaming Cos, Medical-Legal-Insurance Cos regularly employ animation professionals for their various needs.

Mayank, if you have the funds you can look at the option of studying abroad at schools like VFS, Vanarts, or go for a degree course. studying abroad in Animation and VFX is great but you would need to understand their structure and how it works. If you want advice on that I can guide you and put you across to the best schools.You can call me and discuss if you like. However, these schools look for a good portfolio in drawing the most, and some areas can make do with a digital portfolio if good.
