Visual communication studies have to do with a whole lot of entirely different skillsets, both conceptual and otherwise, relating to graphic design - typography, illustration, text and image, infographics, branding and identity, user interface, posters, web design, publication design, packaging design, sequential art and so on.

Definitely you can pursue B.Sc in Visual Communication. There is no age limit for that.You did a right thing by dropping Engineering, as you had 14 backlogs which would have created a serious problem in future and also it would have affected your other semester results and would have had a serious impact on your career as well. Visual Communication is a very good field and plenty of jobs are available for the same after graduation.

There are ample opportunities in visual communication course as this course can also be connected with web and graphic designing as they are also part of visual communication and for more course details related to visual communication and animation, you can make survey of Ahmedabad institutes, training campus and centres as it is the hub of the visual communication courses.
